Another port for Quinrose....?

The site for a new Quinrose PSP port, あさき、ゆめみし, was just opened.

Erm....is it just me, or are they getting in a BIIIIIIT over their heads with this? They -just- managed to release the Crimson Empire PS2 port and the yaoi PSP game, they've released new manga 2 months in a row, and they've had Omochabako and the Peter Pan game on the backburner for a while...now they're releasing a Clover no Kuni port -and- a port for another company?

I smell bad business choices......

I'm positive this is all to stall for time. Although it could be a move to reach a larger audience. I haven't taken the time to see if these other game companies are advertising Quinrose games on their web sites. The big problem is that Quinrose isn't drawing our interest to these games. They're just making us impatient, and feeling betrayed because we still see no sign of Omochabako or the Peter Pan game. Well, I don't know how the Japanese fans feel, but all I get from the overseas fans are negative vibes.

Basically. However, considering they were releasing so much in magazines about their two games in magazines and such and then suddenly released news for other stuff...they obviously don't have much tact when it comes to this stuff. ;; They're making it pretty obvious that they're not finished with what they promised to the fans, and I'm pretty sure they'll be receiving some emails from confused fans soon enough. I mean, their Clover port -and- this have release dates (though this game's "date" is just April 2011, but still)....I'm actually kind of tempted to look around some Japanese fansites now, just to see if they're giving any sort of reaction. 8/

someone mentioned they think quinrose is porting games because its to make quick money. XD;; im not sure, but i think its common for bigger companies to make ports, like otomate making the psp port for da capo girl's (--> you should check it out for hirakawa 8D). i guess its a sign quinrose is getting bigger? i don't think omochabako will be postponed because of all the ports, but i really wish they'd hurry up with it. T^T

and randomly, i want to know who will cast for the peter pan game. *w*

Hmmm, that would certainly make a lot of sense. 0v0; (I've been planning on it~ It looks like a cute game) Someone else mentioned that it seemed like they were using the ports as a way to "stall", which makes a lot of sense. They seem to be having some sort of difficulty with Omochabako, seeing as how it's already 2months late and there's still no word of any progress. They need to release -something- or fans are going to start to question them. 8/

So do I! ;v; I'm really curious to see who they'll be casting, considering that some of the characters look so similar to other Quinrose characters hahaha.

That's weird...Asaki Yumemishi is MIO's right?
Did they work together to make the psp version??
They should made a new story/idea rather change the platform =___=; (just sounding my opinion)

I'm not sure --- I didn't really look into the details. 8/ I was just sort of focusing on the fact that they're porting another game that isn't their own haha. Yes, I wish they would focus more on their original stuff than porting all of these games....bahhh.

Don't forget Iza, Shutsujin! Koi Ikusa. ;; But yes that's really a lot of projects! I know Otomate has the guts (LOL I NEARLY TYPED 'GUYS' LOL) to take on many projects at once but somehow I'm not sure if QR can do the same too. :\

But then again if their own games get backlogged it would seem it's 'cos their porting other games.

Yes yes. ;v; Hahaha, I can understand a company as big as Otomate releasing that many, but for a company like Quinrose, it seems to be a bit much without giving themselves more of a transition. (PFFF how appropriate~)

Exactly. Hopefully if that happens they'll realize they're taking too much on and start to settle down and not release as much eheh. ;;

I agree. Or maybe...they want to port games + earn money = get more budget for their original games. <-- lol much speculation

I hope so too. ;A;

Hopefully that's the case. ;; The only other thing I could think they'd need that kind of money for is if they plan to start a new project...but I'm hoping that, with all of the progress they seem to have made on Omochabako already, that money is going toward releasing Peter Pan. Of course, that also brings up the fact that if they're having to port games to -have- the money to release their own games.....;; I'm not sure what I want to believe anymore huhuhu. *sob*

It's very hard to guess 'cos they are releasing CGs etc. (though not a huge load) via some magazines for Omochabako and Peter Pan. So I'm wondering just how fast is their progress on those games. :\

Yes, I've actually been tempted to buy some fo the magazine clippings from Yahoo Japan just to tide myself over. ;; You'd think they'd be at least -close- to finished, considering how much time has passed since the initial announcements, CG releases, etc....but who knows. o^o

I know right. Yet no online updates. Sigh. Probably no one but themselves know. D8
